ABOUT O.A.R.

Of A Revolution or O.A.R. is a Grammy nominated band from Rockville, Maryland. The band came out in the late 90s with their self-released debut album The Wanderer. In 2001, their third album Risen made its debut on Bilboard’s indie rock chart, marking the band’s first album entry into the chart. O.A.R. made their debut on the Billboard 200 upon the release of In Between Now and Then in 2003. This was quickly followed by another triumphant effort, 200’s All Sides, which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200 and numbers 3 and 4 at the Top Alternative and Top Rock charts. All Sides spawned the band’s biggest hit, “Shattered (Turn the Car Around).” which as of this writing has garnered approximatley 80 million streams across music platforms. The single also peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2013, the band earned their first Grammy nomination when Rockville LP was nominated for Best Rock Album and Best Surround Sound Album.
