Even though we are in a different kind of middle now - age-wise, they are pretty timeless, and when they come out to play, we’ll be there just like it's 2001 all over again!
It’s been 25 years since Jimmy Eat World dropped their explosive breakthrough album ‘Bleed American’, and nothing could be more appropriate than them hitting the road on a massive tour to celebrate! Yes, Bend, Jimmy Eat World is coming to the Hayden Homes Amphitheatre on 17 July 2026 with their ‘Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour’ - they’re coming out to play, and yes, we’ll be there… again! And this time they’ll be bringing special guests Motion City Soundtrack and Illuminati Hotties along for the ride!

25 years later, and they’re no longer in the middle - they’re on top. They gave us some of the best emo-tinged alt-rock songs ever - from The Middle and Sweetness to Hear You Me and A Praise Chorus, from Pain and 555 to Bleed American and Something Loud, and they’re still on rotation in every fan-home, on every single playlist, and nestled deep in hearts and minds. They are the soundtrack of the middle (aged)’s lives, and it’s about time that the younger generation discovers the anthemic choruses, killer riffs, and wildly fantastic music of one of pop-punk’s greatest bands ever.
It was 2001’s album Bleed American that really introduced the world to frontman and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch, and drummer Zach Lind. Their goal: “writing and playing the most precise, simple pop rock possible” - and it got them really, really far. The platinum-certified Bleed American’s second single The Middle became the band’s most popular song to date, charting in the 5th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
With their long, highly successful career boasting ten studio albums, Consequence ranked Jimmy Eat World 6th on their list of The 100 Best Pop Punk Bands. To date, the band has racked up no less than two Billboard Music Award nominations, a MTV Video Music Award nomination, and four Teen Choice Award nominations.
Now, still very much able to whip any crowd into a total frenzy with shows that have all the aspects working together perfectly - from the music to the lighting, from the energy to the stagecraft, Jimmy Eat World is slated to hit the road on a massive North American tour. The Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour is slated to kick off in early June 2026 in Denver, Colorado, with stops in Washington, Boston, Seattle, Toronto, Dallas, and Nashville, among others, before wrapping up in mid-November 2026 in Orlando, Florida, as part of the Vans Warped Tour.
