We got some news that tickets are selling out real quick as the “Pumped Up Kicks” hitmakers embark on another round of live shows. In support of their recent album “Paradise State of Mind” and their run of big hits, the band led by Mark Foster and Isom Innis looks forward to celebrating with all of their fans. Raising the bar with even more pumped-up concerts, it’s only possible when you’re part of it.

Goth Babe will be joining as the special guest for this night in Bend, along with several other tour dates. It’s bound to be a showcase of indie-pop magic!

THE BIG HITS

Back in 2011, people ran like crazy as Foster The People’s debut album “Torches” came out. Much of the fanfare and acclaim (globally!) was driven by the success of their smash hit “Pumped Up Kicks.” Their crossover hit made it to the third spot of the Billboard Hot 100, and scored them three Grammy nominations. The album also shared their other iconic singles from this era — Helena Beat” and “Houdini.”

Through time, Foster The People solidified their reputation for indie-pop magic, releasing their succeeding records “Supermodel,” “Sacred Hearts Club,” and their most recent LP, “Paradise State of Mind.” Every era highlighted their growth and creative freedom, exploring new sounds and sharing new stories. It’s always a step forward with Foster The People.

IT’S A PARADISE STATE OF MIND

“Paradise State of Mind is a refreshing modern offering from the LA-duo, their numbers may have dwindled by half, but their sound is bigger than ever,” wrote Lana Williams of The Line of Best Fit.

“The album is not without its lyrical meditations on sadness and emotionally dark places, but overall, it’s a joyful blend of varied instrumentation, dance-floor beats, and catchy hooks. It’s all about balance – in life as in music,” said Chad Liffmann of Spinning Platters.

You heard that right. The band’s new album is regarded as one of their best works yet. Receiving glowing reviews from the likes of Billboard, NME, AP News, Forbes, Clash Magazine, and Consequence, their exploration of disco, funk, gospel, and jazz—influenced elements from late 70s and 80s definitely stands out.

“People need hope. And when I think about what hope is, it’s having the courage to walk towards something that you think can be better, while fully acknowledging the darkness around you,” Foster The People shared about the album.
